Developed a modern, responsive e-commerce platform for a hardware and building materials supplier, combining product catalog management, automated supplier scraping, quotation workflows, and AI-powered customer support. Built with Next.js and Tailwind CSS, the platform allows customers to explore products, review technical datasheets, understand safety requirements, and request quotations for selected items. **Supplier Data Scraping:** Developed dedicated Python scrapers for individual suppliers using Playwright and Beautiful Soup to extract, structure, and centralize product information from different websites. **Technical Documentation:** Integrated product datasheets containing technical specifications, safety information, handling instructions, and relevant precautions. **Quotation Management:** Implemented a product selection workflow allowing customers to select multiple items and request customized quotations. **AI Assistant:** Integrated a Python-based generative AI assistant powered by Google Gemini to answer customer questions, explain technical datasheets, clarify product specifications, and make safety information easier to understand. **Admin Dashboard:** Developed a centralized dashboard for managing product catalog information and administrative workflows. **Automated Emails:** Implemented transactional email notifications to communicate prices and quotation details, confirm orders, and notify customers when their products have been delivered.
