AI-Powered Olive Oil E-commerce platform & WhatsApp Management System

The standout feature is the AI Inventory Assistant: instead of using a complex dashboard, the admin simply takes a photo of a product via WhatsApp. Using Google Gemini AI, the system analyzes the image to extract product details, which the admin can then confirm or edit through the chat. Once approved, the product is automatically listed on the website. I handled the entire lifecycle of this project—from logo design and client meetings to full-stack development and AI prompt engineering.

My Tasks

Designed a complete brand identity, including logo, color palette, and professional content.
Built a high-performance, SEO-optimized storefront using Next.js and TypeScript.
Developed a Python backend to handle WhatsApp Webhook integrations and automated messaging.
Integrated Google Gemini AI to perform Vision-to-Data analysis for automated product entry.
Implemented a real-time notification system to alert managers of new orders via WhatsApp.
Created a "Human-in-the-loop" AI flow allowing admins to verify and correct AI-generated data before publishing.
Managed all client communications, requirement gathering, and project milestones as a solo developer.

What I Learned

Multimodal AI & Workflow: This project was my introduction to building "human-in-the-loop" AI pipelines. I learned to use Google Gemini to transform product photos into structured JSON data via WhatsApp. Building a chat-based admin system taught me to prioritize user context—creating a tool the client could use in a warehouse or field rather than forcing them to a desktop dashboard.
Multilingual Architecture: Implementing i18n in Next.js taught me that localization goes far beyond translation. I had to architect the system to handle localized SEO and dynamic, AI-generated content across multiple languages. This refined my ability to manage complex data flows where the UI and the database must stay perfectly synced in different regions.
Full-Stack Bridging with Python: Developing the bridge between the WhatsApp API and the web database via Python webhooks was a major technical milestone. I learned to manage real-time conversation states and asynchronous tasks, ensuring that image processing and AI analysis felt instantaneous for the user.
The Solo Agency Mindset: Managing the entire lifecycle—from brand identity and logo design to client meetings and deployment—taught me the importance of holistic ownership. I learned that a project’s success depends on the harmony between professional branding and robust code, using TypeScript to ensure stability across the entire multi-platform ecosystem.
